PROJECT STATUS: Completed February 2015

PURPOSE:

  • Enhance occupant safety and regulatory compliance by upgrading life‑safety systems (fire alarms, sprinklers) and reinforcing structural integrity.

  • Improve building performance and resident comfort through modernization of mechanical systems, windows, elevators, common areas, and roof.

Richard delivered comprehensive envelope, life‑safety, and mechanical system upgrades at Judge Fisher Apartments in Chicago. The work encompassed window repair and replacement, wet‑pipe sprinkler and fire‑alarm installations, HVAC and other mechanical system renewals, fiber wrap structural reinforcement, interior common‑area renovations, elevator refurbishment, and reroofing across the 156,780  sqft, 22‑story building. Construction was performed in phases, with tenants remaining in place, following logistics plans and off‑hour restrictions to preserve resident safety and access.
