Kaylee’s story starts in a family of builders—like so many of our employees—her dad and grandfather both worked in construction, and job sites were a familiar backdrop to her childhood. “I was always interested,” she says. “I just didn’t know where I fit in.”

That changed when she joined Richard. “The chance to be in the field, learning hands-on from the ground up—that’s exactly where I wanted to be.” Since then, she’s taken every opportunity to soak up knowledge, lean into challenges, and keep things moving.

Every project throws curveballs, and Kaylee faces them head-on. On a recent job, she noticed some materials on site that hadn’t yet been officially approved. Instead of brushing it off, she took it personally—documenting everything carefully and checking in with the team daily to make sure those issues got resolved quickly.

“I want to catch things early so the team isn’t blindsided later. It’s about looking out for everyone and keeping the project on track,” she says.

Beyond technical know-how, Kaylee brings something equally important to every job: a calm, solutions-focused mindset. When things get tough, she stays steady—bringing clarity, not chaos.

“I take pride in being someone people can count on,” she says. “Whether it’s a surprise challenge or a high-stakes deadline, I stay level-headed and focused on getting it done right.”

Whether she’s organizing project data or walking the site, Kaylee brings the same energy to every task.

“Multiple monitors have been a total game-changer,” she laughs. “I don’t know how I ever worked without them.”
