PURPOSE

To modernize the Oklahoma City VA Medical Center by implementing the Patient Aligned Care Team (PACT) model, a cornerstone initiative designed to revolutionize veteran healthcare delivery through patient-driven, proactive, and personalized care approaches.

Project Challenges

The existing B-MOD facility needed a complete renovation to accommodate the new PACT model requirements while maintaining operational efficiency. The project demanded careful planning to transform 6,330 square feet of clinical space into a modern healthcare environment that would support team-based care delivery.

Project outcome

The project included building out exam rooms, laboratory and specimen collection areas, administrative offices, and a refreshed lobby and waiting area.

The renovation successfully delivered a completely reimagined 6,330-square-foot clinical space that now serves as a full-service medical facility supporting the PACT model. The modernized environment enables enhanced patient-centered care delivery through state-of-the-art examination rooms, laboratories, and administrative spaces, all designed to facilitate team-based healthcare approaches and support wellness and disease prevention initiatives.
