TUCSON AIR FORCE BASE EXPANSION

PURPOSE

The renovation of the Davis-Monthan Air Force Base aimed to enhance the facilities of the elite 47th Fighter Squadron, reflecting the high standards of excellence that the squadron embodies. As a veteran-owned company, Richard is honored to serve the military community, and this project underscores our dedication to uplifting the environment in which service members operate, ultimately advancing their operational capabilities and well-being.

Project Challenges

This extensive renovation and expansion project required meticulous planning and execution over approximately 488 days, including complete interior demolition, abatement, roof replacement, and the installation of new mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Richard also needed to foster strong relationships with the client while ensuring that the work met the rigorous demands of the Air Force.

Project outcome

Richard successfully completed the renovation, including two significant additions totaling 8,000 SF, featuring a sealed air barrier system and specialized theater seating. The project was executed without setbacks, providing the squadron with top-notch facilities that match their elite status. Our commitment to excellence and reliability reinforced the trust and rapport with the client, demonstrating Richard’s ability to build for purpose and support those who serve.

“There’s no greater feeling than knowing the work you’ve done helps better the lives of the occupants of the building you created.”
