Richard Names Bethany Florek as Senior Vice President of Human Resources

CHICAGO, IL – February 4, 2026 – Richard, a leading construction and general contracting firm, announced today that Bethany Florek has joined the organization as Senior Vice President of Human Resources, leading the company’s people strategy during a period of continued growth and organizational evolution.

Florek brings more than 20 years of human resources leadership experience, including over 15 years in the AEC industry, with deep expertise in talent development, organizational leadership, workforce planning, and integration support. In her role, she will guide Richard’s people strategy, supporting both organic growth and future acquisitions while strengthening systems, alignment, and career development across the organization.

Prior to joining Richard, Florek held senior HR leadership roles at TYLin and Greeley and Hansen, where she led people strategy initiatives across large, multi-disciplinary organizations. Her background includes guiding organizational design, succession planning, leadership development programs, and supporting complex integrations following mergers and acquisitions.
